What's New in Arizona?

Estrella Earth day

Hoskin•Ryan was a proud participant on the planning committee with Newland Communities for their First Annual Earth Day at Estrella on April 19th. Attendees learned about healthy living alternatives and environmentally sustainable products to use for their homes and everyday lives. Activities included a farmer’s market, organic café by NYTB Inc., hands-on children’s activities and live entertainment.


Third Street Promenade

The Third Street Promenade project has been selected by the Maricopa Association of Governments to receive funding from the Pedestrian Design Assistance Program. Green Building Expo

October 5-6, 2007 | Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts & Civic Center Congratulations to the Scottsdale Green Building Expo for the success of the 10th Annual Green Building Expo. Hoskin•Ryan proudly sponsored the two-day event and actively participated on the Green Building Expo Planning Committee. Hosted by the cities of Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe, this event attracts professionals in the A/E/C industry as well as the general public. We commend the dedicated city employees and volunteers who organize the expo each year.  SPECIAL RECOGNITION: This year was a particular success for the members of the Green Building Expo Planning Committee, who received the highly-coveted, Crescordia Award at Valley Forward’s Annual Environmental Excellence Awards Dinner. E-week 2007

Engineer’s Week is an exciting time for engineers and scientists across the country. Engineers get involved with their communities via national, regional and local programs, carrying on a tradition that began in 1952.

Once again, there will be an Engineer's Day event at the Arizona Science Center. A chance for families and kids to tour the AZSC's amazing exhibits and to interact with engineering societies, university students and industry representatives who set up special hands-on exhibits throughout the museum.
