The East Mesa Area Drainage Master Plan covered a 60-square-mile study area located within the City of Mesa, Town of Gilbert, Town of Queen Creek and parts of unincorporated Maricopa County. The project management team worked to evaluate known flooding problem areas, identify the magnitude of each, prepare concepts and determine a recommended alternative. The team prepared preliminary design plans for the recommended alternative to identify project costs, right-of-way needs and propose funding priorities. The final report included the documentation of existing and future conditions hydrology, study procedures, identification of plan elements, and preliminary design plan and profile drawings.
